Manufacturing Process of Stainless Steel Pipes and Tubes
MLTI Private Limited, formerly trading as Moonlight Tube Industries, is a leading stainless steel pipe manufacturer in India. We use two production processes, one starting from a solid billet, the other from cold-rolled coil. Both routes end at the same inspection, testing, and marking stages before dispatch.
Manufacturing Process of Seamless Pipes and Tubes
Seamless production starts from a solid billet rather than a strip, so the finished product carries no weld line along its length. The billet is heated, pierced over a mandrel, elongated and reduced to size, then heat-treated, straightened, and tested before dispatch.

Manufacturing Process of Welded (ERW) Pipes and Tubes
ERW stands for Electric Resistance Welded. Coil is uncoiled, cold-formed into a round section on the tube mill, and the abutting edges are joined by resistance heating without filler metal. Cutting, heat treatment, straightening, pickling, and hydro testing follow before marking and dispatch.
