Grade 304 stainless steel contains 18.0 to 20.0% chromium and 8.0 to 11.0% nickel, with carbon limited to 0.08% maximum. The material has a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa (75 ksi), minimum yield strength of 205 MPa (30 ksi) and minimum elongation of 35% in the annealed condition.
Our stainless steel 304 tube range includes round, square and rectangular profiles. Round tubes are available from 12.7 mm to 101.6 mm outside diameter, with wall thicknesses from 1.02 mm to 3.40 mm. Square sections start at 12 x 12 mm and rectangular sections at 13 x 25 mm. Cut-to-length service is available according to order requirements. Standard Lengths and Cut-to-Length Service
Round 304 tube reaches 24 metres, which takes joints out of long exchanger runs. Box sections stop at 12 metres. We'll cut to a nominated length before despatch.
